The biggest three-day orienteering event in Bulgaria - Bulgaria cup 2023 will be held in Borovets. Borovets is the oldest winter resort in Bulgaria and the Balkan peninsula. It lies 1300 m above sea level, about 70 km south of Sofia on the northern slopes of Rila mountain the highest mountain of the Balkans – 2925 m. Borovets hosted Junior World Orienteering Championship in 2014, but now for BG Cup 2023, we mapped a brand new area.
